On the left corner of the light blue bar above the displayed collection is the Collection Icon showing the name ( Tag Type ) of collection Currently on Display. By clicking on the Tag Type value, the list of all available Tag Types that have an asset defined under them is displayed. By selecting any Tag Type the Collection on Display changes to that Tag Type. The system always remembers the last displayed Collection, and automatically opens that whenever you switch back or restart the app.

Category is the only mandatory Tag type, and an asset MUST have at least one Tag Value from the Category Tag Type.

Hierarchical relationships between Tag Values, allow you to group Assets under various levels of Sub Groups in a Hierarchical manner. To define a hierarchical relationship between two Tag values, a Tag Value must also be defined as a Tag type. By doing so the Tag Values of this same named new Tag Type will have a hierarchical child relationship with the Tag Value that shares its parent Tag Type name. Its a little confusing initially, so refer to the following example

E.g. Tag Value 'A' is also defined as a Tag Type 'A' with Tag Values 'AA' and 'AB'. In this case assets having Tag Values "AA" and/or "BB" automatically inherit the Tag Value "A". There is no defined limit on this level of hierarchy.

This can be further better explained with a real life example ...Assume "CLOTHES" is one of the Tag Values under the Tag Type "CATEGORY"." CLOTHES" is also defined as a Tag Type with its own Tag values being "SHIRTS", "TROUSERS" and "JACKETS". Going further, "SHIRTS" is also defined as a Tag Type with its Tag Values as "FORMAL_SHIRTS" and "CASUAL_SHIRTS". Now if we assign an asset the Tag Value "FORMAL_SHIRTS", it will automatically inherit the Tag Values "SHIRTS" and "CLOTHES".

You can locate all the assets sharing a Tag Value in multiple ways - Under Settings Manage Tag Values, all Tag Values with a count of Assets having that Tag Value is displayed on the right side, against the selected Tag Type on the Left Column. By long pressing the Tag Value, the collection of Assets having that Tag type are displayed. - When viewing any Asset in its Detail Screen, if you long Press on any Tag Value belonging to that Asset, the collection of Assets having that Tag type are displayed.
